Data protection

The operator is the data controller for personal data processed through this service. How data is used, who receives it and how to exercise your rights is explained in the Privacy Policy; cookies and similar technologies in the Cookies policy; the use of artificial intelligence in the AI transparency notice. Signed-in users can export or delete their account under Privacy & data in the app. Requests: [email protected]. Supervisory authority: Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

Hosting and processing

The product is hosted on Contabo GmbH infrastructure in the European Union (VPS and, when configured, Contabo private object storage for run files), behind Cloudflare's network. Default (hybrid): your browser anonymises CV identifiers before upload; ResumeCaliper receives anonymised text only and does not store a CV contact restore map on its servers; you restore contacts in the browser when building the PDF. CV analysis uses the OpenAI API on that anonymised text. After a successful run, anonymised CV text and prompts held for the run are deleted when the run finishes. Scores, the job description and the rewrite source stay in History for up to 48 hours — including after one-shot download — so you can reopen results and regenerate. Improved CV, cover letter and optional photo are one-shot downloads (deleted after a successful download, or within 48 hours if unused). Nothing from a run is kept past 48 hours. Intellectual property

The software, design, texts, brand and other content of this website and app belong to the operator or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or exploit them without permission, except for the use of the service and of your own generated documents as allowed by the Terms. Third-party names and trademarks (for example OpenAI, Google, Stripe, Cloudflare) belong to their owners.

Use of the website

You agree to use this website lawfully and in accordance with the Terms. The operator may change the content or suspend access for maintenance or security reasons. Links to third-party sites are provided for information only; the operator does not control their content.

Complaints: [email protected] or the Contact page. Consumers may request an official complaint form and contact their local consumer office. Spanish law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where an EU/EEA consumer lives, as set out in the Terms.
