ATS Resume Checker

ResumeCaliper does not offer a separate layout, keyword, or section-name checker. You run the same analysis as every other tool page — one job description, one CV, one scorecard — with ATS-oriented guidance.

Benefits

Why it matters

Many employers run CVs through software before a recruiter reads them. If that software can’t read your layout, or doesn’t find the terms the job asks for, a strong candidate can be filtered out for the wrong reasons. ResumeCaliper shows those risks inside the same check you use for fit scoring — then a fixed version — before you apply.

How to use it

  1. Open the ResumeCaliper app and paste the full job description.
  2. Upload your current CV (a PDF or DOCX with selectable text — photos and scans aren’t supported).
  3. Review your fit score, category bars (including ATS readability), gaps and suggested edits — then download the tailored CV and read every line before you send it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a separate ATS checker UI?

No. One analysis produces one scorecard: a fit score, category scores (including an ATS readability heuristic), gaps vs the job, suggested edits, and a downloadable tailored single-column CV. There is no dedicated ATS report surface.

Does it guarantee my CV will pass an ATS?

No — and no tool honestly can. Every employer configures its system differently. What we can do is flag common parseability risks via a readability heuristic, surface keyword gaps, and give you a cleaner, job-aligned CV to review before you apply.

Is my CV safe?

Yes. Your browser replaces your name and contact details with placeholders before upload, we never store your original CV, and each file can be downloaded once and is then deleted. Scores, the job description and the rewrite source stay in History for up to 48 hours — including after that download. Nothing is kept longer than 48 hours.
