Resume tips
- Lead with product outcomes (activation, retention, revenue), not feature lists
- Show discovery methods when the JD emphasizes research
- Mention analytics tools you used to decide
- Clarify 0→1 vs growth/scale experience to match the role
ATS recommendations
- Include both “Product Manager” and domain (B2B SaaS, marketplace) keywords from the JD
- Put metrics near the start of bullets for scanners and humans
- Put the exact Product Manager title from the posting in your headline when truthful
Common mistakes
- Feature changelog resumes with no user or business impact
- No experimentation or measurement language when JD requires it
- Overclaiming “owned P&L” without evidence
